Travel & wood shop...

Quick update. I am leaving in the morning and flying to Pittsburgh. Staying there for a few days and then taking a train to Philadelphia. I haven't been on a train since I was a little fella'. So I'm looking forward to this trip across Pennsylvania. Possibly hoping up to Manhattan one night as well. It's going to be a fun new adventure. If anyone has any suggestions of things I should see or do in either place, just let me know. I also have been playing around with several new project ideas. Ways to get more art out to more people. I spent sometime in the workshop with my carpenter friend Sanding, sawing, drilling, etc. We built some new frames and other wooden objects for future projects. More to come soon. Enjoy the sneak peek...

Each one will be hand signed and numbered by me as well. Thanks.

New painting...

"Unforeseen Journey" / acrylic on canvas / 30x24"
I worked off & on this piece for the last year. It was a piece I wanted to do for sometime. I researched and chose specific animals for this piece to tell the story. Including a Blue-crowned Motmot, a Scops Owl, a sparrow, a Spectacled Warbler, a Scarlet Minivet, an Arctic Narwhal, and the Monarch Butterfly. Capturing the beauty and the sadness into one scene was the goal. Close-up details below...
